Sourdough bread is great fun to make when you know how and the beneficial bacteria make it better for us. Long fermentation mean that it is easier to digest too! Buying sourdough bread is expensive, so why not learn how to make your own. Starting at 10am, on this course you will learn how to make a basic sourdough loaf and learn how to create your own starter too but don’t worry, you will leave with a bit of starter so you can get going at home as soon as you like, as well as a banneton basket for proving your bread in. In addition to a traditional sourdough, you will also make a cranberry and walnut sourdough, rye sourdough and Swedish Cinnamon Buns. While we wait for bread to rise, we will enjoy a delicious homemade lunch.
